The move to "less paper" is both realistic and obtainable with our capture system, designed to provide high-speed digital scanning. The scans are recorded by Adobe Acrobat and converted to a PDF (portable document file). This file format permits storage for archiving; indexing of all scanned material to enable searching and also allows files to be placed on electronic medium such as CD ROM or networks.
Once converted to PDF, paper documents can be used for on-line viewing on the Internet. Even the longest documents can be viewed online thanks to page-at-a-time downloading and progression rendering of PDF files.
This application goes beyond archiving, indexing and providing search ability. Placing paper-based manuals, product specifications, catalogues, price lists, repair and parts information, and more on the Web, using the scan and index features of our capture system opens up new and simple approaches to talking directly to new clients and markets. You can place a complete library of PDF and HTML documents information at your client's fingertips on the Web.
And the PDF file format allows you to keep your library of information current, letting you update information quickly and in specific areas of any document without having to re-do a full page, paragraph or even sentence.
